Three Ranges Adventure: Karakoram, Himalaya & Hindukush – 20 Days

Upon your arrival at Islamabad International Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. After checking in at Chezsoi Guest House or an equivalent accommodation, take some time to relax and freshen up from your journey. In the afternoon, visit the iconic Faisal Mosque, one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in the world, offering stunning views of the Margalla Hills. Later, depart for Pir Sohawa, a popular hilltop destination that provides panoramic views of Islamabad. Enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant in Pir Sohawa before heading back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before heading to Islamabad International Airport for your flight to Skardu. Enjoy breathtaking aerial views of Nanga Parbat and the Karakoram ranges during the flight. Upon arrival at Skardu Airport, you will be welcomed by a member of the Roam Around Team. Depart for Lower Kachura Lake, also known as Shangrila Resort, and then proceed to Upper Kachura Lake. Spend your time at Upper Kachura Lake enjoying activities such as boating. Conclude your day with dinner and check-in at Sehrish Guest House or an equivalent accommodation.

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Shigar Valley. Your first stop will be Shigar Fort, a beautifully restored fort serving as a museum and hotel. Visit the historic Khilingrong Mosque and then explore the unique Cold Desert of Skardu. Continue to Blind Lake, a serene and picturesque spot in the valley. Spend the day exploring other attractions in Shigar Valley before returning to Sehrish Guest House or an equivalent accommodation for the night. 

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a thrilling jeep safari to the Deosai Plains. Your first stop will be Sadpara Lake, a beautiful alpine lake. Continue to Sheosar Lake, one of the highest lakes in the world, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Visit Bara Pani and Kala Pani, two famous spots in Deosai. On your way back to Skardu, stop by the Buddha Rock, an ancient rock carving. Return to Sehrish Guest House or an equivalent accommodation for the night. 

Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel before departing for Hunza Valley. Along the way, stop at Rakaposhi View Point to enjoy the majestic views of Rakaposhi Mountain and the collision point of the continental plates. Upon reaching Central Hunza, check-in at your hotel. Later in the day, visit Altit Fort and Duikar, also known as Eagle’s Nest, to witness a stunning sunset. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at Eagles Nest or an equivalent accommodation.

After breakfast, explore the bustling Karimabad Bazaar before heading to Baltit Fort, a historical fort with impressive architecture and rich history. Continue to Hoper Glacier, a stunning glacier in the Nagar Valley. Later, visit Attabad Lake, a beautiful turquoise lake formed by a landslide. Check-in at Jovenna Resort or an equivalent accommodation for the night.

Following breakfast at the hotel, depart for Khunjerab Pass, the highest paved international border crossing in the world, situated between Pakistan and China. On your way, stop at Passu Glacier and taste the famous apricot cake at Glacier Breeze Restaurant. Drive back to Gulmit and stay overnight at Jovenna Resort or an equivalent accommodation.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before setting out to explore the charming villages of Gulkin and Gulmit. Take small hikes around these villages and hike towards Passu Glacier, also known as the White Glacier. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay at Jovenna Resort or an equivalent accommodation.

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, then enjoy the scenic views of Passu Cones, also known as Passu Cathedrals. Visit Hussaini Bridge, one of the most dangerous bridges in the world, and then stop by Minapin Village on your way to Gilgit. Check-in at Gilgit Blossom Inn or an equivalent accommodation for the night.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and depart for Raikot Bridge. Upon arrival, transfer to a 4×4 jeep for a ride to Tattoo Village. Have lunch at Tattoo Village before starting a 2-3 hour hike to Fairy Meadows. Once at Fairy Meadows, relax and enjoy the majestic views of Nanga Parbat. Check-in at Raikot Serai or an equivalent accommodation for the night.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before beginning your hike towards Nanga Parbat Base Camp. Upon arrival at the base camp, take in the stunning views and then retrace your steps back to Fairy Meadows. Spend the night at Raikot Serai or an equivalent accommodation.

After breakfast, trek back from Fairy Meadows to Tattoo Village. Transfer to a 4×4 jeep for the drive back to Raikot Bridge. Continue your journey towards Phander. Upon arrival, check-in at Hilltop Lodge Phander or an equivalent accommodation for the night.

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel and visit Phander Lake, a beautiful turquoise lake surrounded by lush green fields. Continue to Shandur Polo Ground, the highest polo ground in the world, and visit Shandur Lake. Drive towards Mastuj and check-in at a local guest house or an equivalent accommodation for the night.

After breakfast, depart for Chitral at 8:00 am. Upon arrival, visit Chitral Museum and Shahi Mosque Chitral. Later, proceed to Ayun for an overnight stay. Check-in at Ayun Fort Inn or an equivalent hotel and enjoy dinner.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing for Bumburet. Make a short stop in Ayun before arriving in Bumburet. Check-in at your hotel and take some free time to relax and explore the surrounding village. Stay overnight at a local guest house or Alexander Post Hotel.

After breakfast, visit the Kalasha Museum, the unique graveyard, and other attractions in the Kalasha Villages. Spend the night at a local guest house or Alexander Post Hotel.

Following breakfast at the hotel, depart for Rumbur Valley. Explore the scenic Rumbur Valley before continuing your journey to Nagar Fort. Upon arrival, check-in at the fort or an equivalent accommodation for the night.

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Islamabad.
